Re-take option

The following conditions apply to the Re-take Option: A candidate has failed their exam by 3 points or less. A candidate was absent from the exam on medical or compassionate grounds - a medical certificate must be sent to the Centre within 10 days of the exam date. A candidate must contact the Centre within 15 days of the last day of the official examination result release date if they wish to redeem this option. The re-sit must be taken within 9 months of the original exam date. The re-take option is only valid for the same exam level that the candidate failed. The re-sit must take place at the original exam Centre.

By default the Centre allocates speaking test partners. If you wish to choose your speaking test partner, you must specify a partner on registration. The chosen partner must have registered for the same exam level and exam written date, and for the same examination centre as you. One person (of the two) must have registered first and will have received a reference code. Once you have chosen a partner, no future changes are possible. The Centre cannot guarantee your choice of partner.

Special Arrangements

I have special needs

Special Arrangements should be used only when making applications in advance for candidates who are permanently disabled or for candidates who have a temporary disability which is known about before the date of the examination. Medical evidence must be enclosed with this application. Applications made on behalf of permanently disabled candidates must be made no later than registration deadline. If modified papers are required, application for these must be made 6 months before the date of the examination.
